Business in a Backpack Review

I know for readers of this blog being Location Independent Digital Nomads is something a lot of you are or aspire to be. Business in a Backpack by Darcie Connell and Adam Costa is a guide to using three different methods to achieve that lifestyle.
I think this book is best suited to people who want to create information products to fund their travels. This is the method the authors used. This shows in the book where I think the information about creating and marketing information products is the most useful. However because there is so much about marketing it is also extremely useful to affiliate marketers also. The other method described is building content sites.
There is a lot of information about marketing on the internet, in fact about half of the book is focused on the marketing side, it really covers every method that I am aware of, to put it simply it is comprehensive in this aspect. The book at 111 pages also doesn’t suffer from “font bloat” like so many ebooks do.
I’ve found myself referring back to this book a lot lately because of its excellent marketing information, it has so many suggestions for methods to try and really helps to point me in the right direction.
A word on the price, $19.95, I think this is low, in the informational ebook market it is very low. They could easily raise it to $29.95, no one would bat an eyelid and it would still be worth it. I’m not saying the price will be raised and you should buy through my link before it goes up, I’m just making the point that it offers a lot of value as probably the cheapest and most detailed product aimed at those who want to make money online to fund their travel.
Once the money making part is dealt with Business in a Backpack looks at the travel side and gives a fairly general look at choosing where to go and what sort of costs you can expect. There is some useful information here but probably not a lot that will be new to most people who are interested in setting up a business in a backpack.
With the help this book gives I’ve started work on a site offering a free mini guide to build an email list and suggest tools within it that will hopefully make some sales, I’ll post about how that is going once it is properly set up and has had a chance to show some potential.

I’ll buy it now and give it a read, thanks for the recommendation.
Hope you find it useful, I just did some testing with help from it and saved myself the time put into a bad niche, so it’s saved me money at least already.
