The Night of the UFO

I’m walking back to my room from a houseboat on the river Kwai in Thailand, the jungle path is wet and slippery and I’m wondering if there are still Tigers around here, it’s pretty much pitch black and I can hardly see where I’m going so if I’m mauled by one at least I won’t see it coming. I look to the stars scanning for satellites or shooting stars. There is a satellite, and it’s moving awfully fast, and moving erratically, am I seeing UFO? Time For Some Indiana Jones

I've spent the last couple of days moving into a new unit and today I'm off to Cambodia, well it will take me two days to get there going via Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur first and then I will only be there a couple of days before heading to Thailand and later back to Cambo to visit some temples, I have a particular one in mind that which covers an area greater than Angkor Thom but is rarely visited by tourists, it will be a challenge to get to though and a lot of fun. Kuta, Bali: A Bad Introduction to Travel

Bali was my first ever international destination, in Australia you could be forgiven for thinking that Australians don't travel anywhere else, it's Bali or it's nowhere. Apparently Australian's love Bali, the Kuta nightlife and beach, a vacationers paradise, surfing and shopping mecca.

12 Hours in Lion City: Impressions of Singapore

On my the way home from my trip to Cambodia in April I had a 12 hour layover in Singapore. I'd had the same on the way over but because of the arrival and departure time I did nothing but try to sleep in the airport and try was all I managed. On the return leg however I figured out the rail connection between terminals and took the MRT into the city with a stop at a random park, being a park I thought it might be nice to walk around but it all looked pretty boring at the time.
